About me
Meet Larry
I’m Lawrence Francis, a Product Designer and Creative Director from Nigeria, and co-founder of Amari Network. I started out as a curious gamer boy chasing pro play; design was meant to fund that dream and quietly became the bigger one. Today I help B2B, B2C and SaaS teams turn complex ideas into products people actually understand and use.
What sets my work apart is range. I design the interface, direct the brand around it, and increasingly build and ship it myself with AI, moving from concept to working product in a fraction of the usual time. From high-converting product pages and full brand systems to motion and live esports production, I care about one thing: that the finished work is both genuinely usable and unmistakably yours.
what I can do for you
I work across the full arc of a product: UX and research, interface design, brand and creative direction, motion, and increasingly the build itself. That range means I can take an idea from a blank page to a shipped, on-brand product without it getting lost in handoffs.

Discover My Journey in Design
Every chapter below is a real jump: teaching myself design and code, my first launch floor at Harveyteck, directing a design team at SmartBloks, founding Amari Network, then designing for global brands at JAH Creative. Each step sharpened the same instinct: strategy and craft are stronger together.
Product Designer · Harveytech Innovation (Snapilabs)
2022 – 2023
I came into design as a curious gamer boy who wanted to go pro, but I needed a career that could fund the ambition first. So I spent two years teaching myself design, frontend frameworks and graphics work in Photoshop and Illustrator, then bet on design as the main lane. Harveyteck Innovation was the first proof the bet was right. Working under Steve Taripanye Irimagha, one of JVZoo’s established vendors, I designed for the launches of Facedrip and MegaSuite, two software products that sold through both their opening and closing windows. On the side I carried the redesign of Gisthouse, an Afrocentric audio social app owned by Dr Ope Banwo, through the winter of 2022, and the refreshed app shipped in its update cycle early the next year.

Creative Director · SmartBloks.ai
2023 – 2024
SmartBloks was where I stepped into leadership. As Creative Director of the design team under co-creator Leon Okpeh, I fed the AI website builder the block designs it learned from, built out a library of more than 100 website templates, and spearheaded the launch graphics for the SmartBloks.ai release in early 2024. Directing designers taught me what no tool could: how to hold one visual standard across work I did not personally draw.

Co-founder & Creative Director · Amari Network
2023 – Present
The gamer ambition never left, it matured. With a few connections I co-founded Amari Network to give African esports a stage worth watching. We landed sponsorship from Stellas Bank, a Nigerian digital bank, and staged our first tournament, a Call of Duty Mobile Battle Royale with a $1,000 prize pool. The coverage pulled 10,527 views and 1,132 watch hours, brought in 674 subscribers from 80,820 impressions at a 6.4% click through rate, and the grand final became the channel’s biggest fixture. The boy who wanted to go pro ended up building the arena instead.

Product Designer · JAH Creative Agency
2024 – 2026
JVZoo launches kept me on a straight line of B2B and B2C products, and I wanted more range. So I quit, rebuilt my portfolio on Behance, and that portfolio landed my first foreign agency role at JAH Creative. There I design for brands like Nooro, Big Dollar Casino, SideShift, CoreCard and Datapot, working inside established design languages and shipping work that holds up next to any team in the room.

My Tech Stack
I build with intention, and my toolkit spans the whole journey from idea to shipped product. I design in Figma and Framer, craft visuals across the Adobe suite, add depth with 3D and motion, and build real products with AI, using Claude as a genuine design and engineering partner.
Framer
Designing and shipping interactive, responsive websites, including this one, in one place.
Figma
My home for UI and UX, from wireframes to polished, developer-ready interfaces.
Claude
My AI design and engineering partner, taking ideas from concept to working product fast.

Spline
Bringing depth to the web with expressive 3D visuals and interactions.
Next.js
The framework behind the products I vibecode and ship end to end.
Photoshop
Photo, texture and visual craft when a design needs a richer finish.
Illustrator
Vector work, logos and brand marks built to scale cleanly everywhere.
After Effects
Motion and animation that make interfaces and brand feel alive.
OBS Studio
Live production for Amari Network esports broadcasts and events.
Notion
Where I plan projects, structure content and keep everything organized.

Design with Strategy and Creativity
Every project I take on runs on the same method: get the real problem right, design against it with intent, then ship something that holds up in the market. Strategy and craft are not separate stages for me, they are one loop.
01.
Research & Strategy
I start by getting the problem right, mapping the business, the people it serves, and the gaps competitors leave open. That groundwork turns a loose brief into a clear direction the rest of the work can be measured against.

02.
Concept & Direction
With the direction set, I shape structure and interface together, pressure-testing the strongest ideas as rough flows before committing to pixels. Early calls are made on intent and logic, not taste alone.

03.
Feedback & Refinement
I share work in progress and treat feedback as data, not verdicts. Each round sharpens the design against real expectations and constraints, so nothing ships on assumption.

I put the work in front of real use and resolve the friction, edge cases, and anything that slows a user down. The aim is an interface that performs under pressure, not one that only looks right in a mockup.
