Brand Strategy

DriveOn is built on one idea: the problem is not a lack of information, it is the lack of a system to interpret it. The founder arrived at that the hard way, through a torn Achilles, chronic injuries and years of contradictory advice from fitness influencers, golf coaches and business courses. What finally resolved it was not another tactic, it was frameworks, SOPs and decision models. The identity had to carry the same argument: clarity over noise, structure over hype. The brand now spans three ventures that share one operating philosophy of validate with data, document everything, scale through systems. DriveOn Commerce is a lean volume testing engine for e-commerce, DriveOn OS is a data driven golf performance platform, and DriveOn Recovery is an athlete grade wellness line. The tagline, Find Your Path, Drive On, holds both halves of the promise: the system gives you the path, the discipline keeps you moving.

Personality

Engineered, calm and direct. DriveOn does not shout, it explains. The voice is technical without being cold, and it earns trust by showing the mechanism rather than promising an outcome. The reference point is an operator rather than an influencer: precise language, numbered structure, no hype. Visually that translates into high contrast monochrome with a single expressive accent, so the brand reads as disciplined by default and human only where it matters.

Color

The palette is deliberately restrained. A near black base carries the seriousness of a system, an off white at #F5F5F5 keeps documents and dashboards readable, and a mid grey at #B4B4B4 handles structure and secondary information. Against that discipline sits a single pink to violet accent gradient, used sparingly for the app icon, a call to action, or one highlight inside a data view. The restraint is the point: when almost everything is monochrome, the accent carries meaning instead of decoration.

Typography

Host Grostesk carries the identity. It is a modern sans serif that reads as corporate and casual at once, which suits a brand that has to look credible to a business audience and approachable to an athlete. Headlines run tight, uppercase and heavy so statements like BUILT FOR CLARITY land as claims rather than styling, while body copy drops to lighter weights for the long form explanation this brand depends on. Inter, Satoshi, Geist and DM Sans are the approved companions wherever Host Grostesk is unavailable, which keeps the system consistent across web, product and internal documents.

Art Direction

Photography is high contrast black and white, shot close and slightly abstract, so product surfaces and movement read as engineered rather than lifestyle. Physical product carries the brand quietly: matte black bottles and packaging with a debossed or foil mark, minimal type and no clutter. Digital surfaces invert the same rules, using dark interfaces with generous space and reserving the accent gradient for the single most important element on screen. The through line is restraint. Every surface has to prove it needs the ink.

CLIENT PROOF
  • Nick Simmons

founder of JAH creative design agency

Having Lawrence work under my agency made me money as an efficient designer he is, helped me retain my status as a Top 4% upwork agency and I can't be any less proud of him. Under me he learnt framer just so we could get more jobs and he delivered.

  • Loong Pancoast

    CEO of DriveOn

Lawrence is a professional through and through. He has been an absolute pleasure to work with, taking in account all of our needs while meeting expectations. I would 100 percent recommend Lawrence for any developmental design needs. If you are hesitating, don't, you won't regret it.

  • Drew Levin

    Co-founder of SideShift

Lawrence worked hand in hand with me and Nick Lawton to get the first version of our site out the door, staying flexible through every change we needed. His cooperation is a big reason we could launch on time and begin major operations. A designer who listens closely and delivers.
